Shakespeare Theatre of NJ Extends TOVARICH Through 9/1

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey announced today it was extending the run of its critically acclaimed comedy Tovarich through September 1st. Added performances of this long-forgotten treasure, by French playwright Jacques Deval and adapted by the American author Robert E. Sherwood, are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 29th, 30th and 31st at 8 p.m.; and Saturday August 31st and Sunday, September 1st at 2 p.m.

Conservative talk show host Mark R. Levin's latest book, THE LIBERTY AMENDMENTS: RESTORING THE AMERICAN REPUBLIC dethroned Reza Aslan's ZEALOT on the Amazon best seller this week, debuting at the top of the list. J.K. Rowling's THE CUCKOO'S CALLING fell to the eighth spot this week - a novel that sold out on the online marketplace just a few weeks ago when it was revealed Rowling was the true author.

MadLab Kicks Off 2013 Young Writers Short Play Festival Today

MadLab will present The Young Writers Short Play Festival, a collection of nine short plays written by Columbus area high school students. This year features plays from all women playwrights. MadLab is a non-profit organization that provides an artistic haven for the creation and experience of original works. Part of that effort involves giving young people the opportunity to create original works.

Formerly an independent boutique hotel, the property located at 1995 S. Bascom Avenue in Campbell, Calif., becomes the newest addition to the DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio, which boasts more than 340 hotels worldwide. DoubleTree by Hilton Opens in Richmond Suburb After $6.5 Million Renovation

DoubleTree by Hilton and Shamin Hotels Inc. today announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond - Midlothian, a contemporary hotel situated just a short drive from downtown Richmond. The building, formerly the Holiday Inn Koger Conference Center, is nearing the completion of a $6.5 million renovation that includes upgrades throughout the hotel's public spaces and guest rooms by the end of 2013. The modern property boasts upscale accommodations and the most expansive meeting and event space available at any hotel in Richmond-Midlothian. Both the hotel and conference center are owned and managed by Shamin Hotels Inc.
