Adelaide Cabaret Festival Artistic Director Kate Ceberano has unveiled a stellar line up of not your usual suspects for her final year as Festival Director.

Raising much needed funds for the Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation, LIGHT THE NIGHT 2013 is held at City Recital Hall tonight, October 28th at 7.30pm. Hosting the 2013 concert will be LIGHT THE NIGHT Ambassador and International musical therapist, Jan van de Stool - alter ego of award winning, musical theatre royalty Queenie van der Zandt.

An additional group of dynamic performers were announced today for the LIGHT THE NIGHT 2013 fundraising concert. Rehearsals for the new musical production Doctor Zhivago recently began in Sydney, with the full cast assembled for the first time. The creative team, a mix of US and Australian, were thrilled with the excitement and energy in the rehearsal room. Director Des McAnuff Jersey Boys arrived in Australia from Canada just before Christmas to commence rehearsals, and others had flown in from the US including composer Lucy Simon, choreographer Kelly Devine, music supervisor Eric Stern, orchestrator Danny Troob and US co-producer Anita Waxman.
