Florida Repertory Theatre announced its 2011-12 Season, opening Oct. 25 with the farce, Neil Simon's Rumors. Florida Rep's 2011-12 line-up boasts a record ten plays, seven in the Historic Arcade and three in its NEW 85-seat Studio, and features some of the funniest plays from the world's greatest comic minds, plus both the 2009 and 2010 Tony-Winning BEST PLAYS.

Rebecca Creskoff, Meredith Forlenza, Brock Harris, Sarah Steele, C.J. Wilson and Harry Zittel will be featured in the LCT3 world premiere production of ALL-AMERICAN, a new play by Julia Brownell, directed by Evan Cabnet.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of HORSEDREAMS, a new play written by and featuring award-winning and Pulitzer Prize finalist, Dael Orlandersmith. The third production of the company's 17th season, performances of HORSEDREAMS will begin Wednesday, November 9th at Rattlestick Theater (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South, between Perry & West 11th Streets). The official opening night is set for Thursday, November 17th. The production is scheduled to run through December 11th. Gordon Edelstein directs.

This Lincoln Center Theater production features Stockard Channing, Rachel Griffiths, Stacy Keach, Judith Light and Thomas Sadoski. Opening night is Thursday, November 3. Open Stage mixes up their offerings this holiday season with very adult fare in David Sedaris' wickedly funny THE SANTALAND DIARIES, playing November 25th - December 17th. Open Stage regular and staff member Stuart Landon will don the green velvet elf costume and take on the one-man show. Open Stage presents this new holiday offering as part of its Subscription Series at The Angino Family Theatre. The comedy opens (of course) on Black Friday.

Producing Artistic Director Mark Cortale announced today that The Art House in Provincetown, MA will present four very special shows this holiday season - and is expanding this year to include Thanksgiving, Holly Folly and New Year's Eve weekend performances.
