Grammy-nominated guitar virtuoso and composer Julian Lage's new album, Modern Lore (Mack Avenue Records), is out today. Modern Lore is Lage's second trio album, and it follows 2017's Mount Royal, a collaborative record with guitarist and singer Chris Eldridge, which was nominated for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at this year's Grammy Awards. Modern Lore is available to stream on Spotify and for purchase on iTunes and Amazon Music.

Grammy-award nominated Julian Lage's second trio album, Modern Lore (Mack Avenue Records), will be released next Friday, February, 2. Somewhere Glimmer is the second album by Trio S - the acclaimed group helmed by clarinetist Doug Wieselman, featuring Jane Scarpantoni on cello and Kenny Wollesen on drums and percussion. When Trio S was formed in 1999, Wieselman wanted to create a band separate from his Kamikaze Ground Crew the band which he co-led and was his vehicle for his compositions starting in the '80's.

Set in the 1950s, and filled with secret crushes, hysterical shenanigans and matters of the heart, this is one Muny production that promises to have the entire family dancing in their 'Blue Suede Shoes.'
