TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Jenn Thompson, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically-acclaimed company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' and named 'Company of the Year' by Terry Teachout of The Wall Street Journal, is pleased to announce the cast and creative team for Beyond Therapy, the hilarious comedy by Christopher Durang, the modern master of the outrageous and absurd (and recipient of the 2013 'Best Play' Tony Award for Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike). The spring production of the company's 21st Season directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Scott Alan Evans will begin performances at Theatre Row'sBeckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Opening night is set for Tuesday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. Performances will continue through April 19, 2014.

La Jolla Playhouse announces its final production for its 2013/14 season: the world premiere of The Who & The What, by Ayad Akhtar, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright for Disgraced and author of the acclaimed novel American Dervish, directed by Kimberly Senior (Disgraced), running February 11 - March 9, 2014 (press opening: Wednesday, February 19 at 7:30pm) in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.

To celebrate, the cast and creative team of MURDER FOR TWO are throwing an album release party immediately following the 7pm performance on Monday, January 13, 2014 at New World Stages.

Producers Jayson Raitt, Barbara Whitman, Steven Chaikelson and Second Stage Theatre just announced that Murder For Two composer Joe Kinosian will reprise his Joseph Jefferson Award-nominated performance as 'The Suspects' beginning Monday, January 20, 2014 in Murder For Two at Off-Broadway's New World Stages - Stage 5 (340 West 50th Street), alongside Brett Ryback, who continues in the role of 'Marcus,' the evening's lovable, if not experienced, detective. Murder For Two features book and music by Joe Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair and direction by Scott Schwartz.

Ghostlight Records will release the original cast recording of the hit new musical comedy MURDER FOR TWO in early 2014. MURDER FOR TWO, which was a hit at Second Stage Theatre Uptown before transferring to New World Stages, has already extended its run through March 16, 2014. The Flea Theater will present the limited Off-Broadway engagement of FAMILY FURNITURE by A.R. Gurney. It is directed by Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail (In The Heights) starring Carolyn McCormick (Law & Order), Peter Scolari (Girls, Newhart, Bosom Buddies), and Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) with newcomers Ismenia Mendes and Molly Nordin. Previews begin November 12 at The Flea with opening slated for Sunday, November 24.
