Five brand new songs from the upcoming Season 4 of GLEE have been released! Get a first listen below!

GLEE gave fans a first listen to five songs from Season 4's first two episodes on its Facebook page today, Sept. 5. The one-time-only event was hosted by Kevin McHale and Darren Criss.

GLEE returns to television on September 13 with a handful of new castmembers, including: Dean Geyer as Brody Weston, Melissa Benoist as Marley Rose, and Becca Tobin as Kitty, Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker. Check out just-released photos below from the second episode of the season, titled 'Britney 2.0,' as featured on Ohnotheydidnt.

Today we are focusing a super-special spotlight on one of the Fall's most intriguing musical entries trying out in New York, the York Theatre Company's lab mounting of the new Paul Jabara jukebox musical LAST DANCE, by talking to the show's lead, recognizable TV and film star Rob Morrow, and the show's lead producer, noted comedic shepherd and filmmaker Robert D. Wachs, whom filled me in on all aspects of the show in a comprehensive chat late last week just prior to this week's start of rehearsals. In this all-encompassing conversation, Morrow, Wachs and I discuss the genesis of the new disco-themed musical celebrating the life and career of Jabara, the accomplished Emmy, Grammy and Academy Award-winning composer of Broadway shows (RACHAEL LILY ROSENBLOOM… AND DON'T YOU EVER FORGET IT), movie songs ("Last Dance" from THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY; the titular "The Main Event") and numerous pop/rock/disco hits, such as "It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls, Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer's epic disco duet "Enough Is Enough (No More Tears)" and his many solo hits, as well as the finer points of the story, concept, casting and the ultimate goals of the new Philip William McKinley-directed production, which features a book by Shaun McKenna. Additionally, Morrow and Wachs each generously share showbiz tales from their storied careers involving such big names as Eddie Murphy, Michael Bennett, Jonathan Larson, Tony Scott and many more and both copiously convey their infectious enthusiasm for the forthcoming fully-produced lab presentation of the new musical that will play for five performances beginning September 20 as they prepare for its first viewing before a paying audience. A new promo for the upcoming fourth season of GLEE has been released which provides a first look at Rachel's new love interest Brody Weston, played by Terra Nova actor Dean Geyer. The promo also introduces Glee fans to Puck's half-brother Jake, played by actor Jacob Artist. Check it out below!

The Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County will hold its second annual gala benefit, Dressing for the Night this evening, August 18 at Bellport's Gateway Playhouse. Ken Page leads the all star cast of entertainers for the evening which includes Jennifer Hope Wills, Ed Staudenmayer, Erica Aubrey and Jamie Jackson.

Composer and writer Mary Rodgers Guettel is at work on her memoirs, according to the New York Post.

ANNIE, the new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, went into rehearsal today in New York City with its full company. The production begins previews October 3, 2012 and opens November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). Meet the full cast below!

AIDS Walk Los Angeles is the world's first fundraising event of its kind, and the event continues to keep the public engaged in the HIV/AIDS crisis. Last year, a passionate crowd of 30,000 walkers and 2,500 volunteers raised $3 million for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and advocacy programs. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $72 million to fight the disease in Los Angeles County.

Music Theatre of Connecticut School of Performing Arts presents FOOTLOOSE, a fully staged and costumed production performed by MTC School of Performing Arts students.

It was announced back in February that Honeymoon in Vegas, a new musical, would open on Broadway in the spring of 2013 following a premiere engagement this November in Toronto. A production source tells BroadwayWorld.com that 'The New York producers have decided not to open the show in Toronto this fall because of scheduling issues. Future plans for the production will be announced soon.'

GLEE creator Ryan Murphy finally joined the ranks of Twitter users this week and has been using the social media site to reveal a host of clues and teasers about the upcoming fourth season of the show. Among them is his wish to cast Broadway vet Catherine Zeta-Jones in the role of Blaine Anderson's (Darren Criss) mother.

Musical Momentum, a very unique benefit concert series, will present its second event, True Colors 2.0: A Benefit/Fundraiser for the Trevor Project at the Laurie Beechman Theater in New York tonight, July 29th.
