The 25th anniversary celebration of GYPSY OF THE YEAR, the culmination of six weeks of extraordinary fundraising by 56 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and national touring companies, raised an amazing $4,343,234 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Just last night, the cast of Broadway's Newsies gathered for a special ealry screening of Disney's newest animated film- Frozen. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you photos of the cast before they headed inside to check out the movie!

This past weekend, Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman of "So You Think You Can Dance" attended a performance of Newsies, the Tony Award winning new American musical, and visited with the cast backstage afterwards. Earlier this week, NEWSIES, Disney's popular new musical about a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenage "newsies", receiveed Actors' Equity Association's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Sixth Annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. The honor is the only industry accolade of its kind and honors the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

NEWSIES, Disney's popular new musical about a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenage "newsies", will receive Actors' Equity Association's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Sixth Annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. The award will be presented in the Actors' Equity Association Council Room, overlooking Times Square, on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.

Cast and creative team members from Broadway's Newsies will meet with and teach theatre students from across the country in four separate Broadway Student Summits taking place starting November 2012. Registration is now open for the upcoming summits!
