This afternoon, I was given the opportunity to speak with Broadway veterans Angie Schworer and Sara Gettelfinger, stars of Reagle Music Theatre's upcoming production of CHICAGO, about their introduction to the world of acting, their experiences with the greats of Broadway, and their complete love and devotion to the theatre world.

As it does every year, ticket sales are up all around on Broadway as a result of the Sunday night's Tony Awards, with advance ticket sales for Best Musical winner Kinky Boots up to $10 million and up to $21 million for fellow nominee Matilda. According to the New York Times, Kinky Boots will launch a national tour from Las Vegas in September 2014, while Matilda producers have yet to decide whether the British import will tour the US.

KINKY BOOTS was the big winner at last night's 67th Annual Tony Awards, taking home a whopping six trophies. The cast and creative team continued celebrating after the ceremony at Radio City Music Hall and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from inside the exclusive party below!

The winners were filled with joy, memories and excitement and we've got it ALL! Here's Billy Porter, who won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his portrayal of Lola in Kinky Boots.

The outrageous thigh-high, fire-engine-red, sparkly boots that take center stage in the Tony-winning musical were especially challenging for the costume designer of the runaway hit.

Billy Porter has won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of 'Lola' in KINKY BOOTS.

Kinky Boots has one the 2013 Tony Award for Best Musical. From four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (book), Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Director & Choreographer), the production began preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on March 3, 2013 and opened last night, April 4, 2013.
