Eleven new teams began the journey of a lifetime this morning when THE AMAZING RACE kicked off its 27thtrip around the world in Venice Beach, Calif. After completing their first challenge, the teams are now en route to their first destination, Rio de Janeiro. Full casting is announced for Green Day's explosive award-winning Broadway musical American Idiot as it blasts into the UK from 17 July, at The Arts Theatre, Leicester Square. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brenton Thwaites has landed a lead role in Disney's PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5, opposite Johnny Depp.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today that prolific television and film producer Mark Gordon will be honored with the 2015 Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television. The award will be presented to Gordon at the 26th Annual Producers Guild Awards ceremony tonight, January 24, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
