Voting is now underway for the Philippines Awards and continues until December 31, 2012. Winners will be announced in early January.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced that it will present 15 films in their original 70mm glory, featuring a mix of beloved classics and rarely screened gems, all at the Walter Reade Theater - one of the last remaining cinemas in the country equipped to screen 70mm prints.

Coming up this week, 54 BELOW, the new performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond. Expounding upon his big Broadway break in Stephen Sondheim & Harold Prince's MERRILY and what it was like to witness the two titans as they developed the piece, Alexander shares his insights into the art of Broadway and also casts a glance back at his roles in Kander & Ebb's THE RINK, Mel Brooks's THE PRODUCERS and directing Sondheim‘s musicals himself (such as SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE with frequent InDepth InterView participant Kelli O‘Hara). Alexander also opens up about some of his most celebrated dramatic and comedic work to date - to say nothing of the iconic TV dynasty of SEINFELD, we also touch upon the TV movie musicals adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL (with a score by Alan Menken & Lynn Ahrens), co-starring Kelsey Grammer, and Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, (with fellow InDepth InterView participant Bernadette Peters), as well as his recent appearance on HARRY'S LAW and more. Presented by Performing Arts Fort Worth, the tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Fort Worth. WEST SIDE STORY will open at Bass Performance Hall on January 15 and run through January 20. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction is recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award-nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).

Based on the hit DreamWorks film and the incredible true story that inspired it, the first national tour of the high-flying Broadway musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will land in Philadelphia at the Academy of Music for a limited engagement Jan. 15 - 20. The press opening is scheduled for Tues. Jan. 15 at 7:30 pm.

2012 marked the passing of Yvonne Mounsey at the age of 93, a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet and the founder of the Westside School of Ballet in Santa Monica, probably one of the finest dancing institutions in the United States.

The RRazz Room, San Francisco's premier nightclub, presents the debut duo engagement of stage and screen star, FRANC D'AMBROSIO, and Broadway star, JERI SAGER. For their show, "Together Again...For The First Time," the powerhouse duo will perform their favorite Broadway and pop hits along with stories of their early days together in New York City. The show will run today, December 11 through December 15.

At a press conference held at Barrington Stage Company's St. Germain Stage, Artistic Director Julianne Boyd announced the 2013 season of musicals and plays that will take place in downtown Pittsfield in the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage and St. Germain Stage (formerly Stage 2) venues in 2013. Single tickets will go on sale March 1, 2013. Dance from the Heart returns to New York City' on Monday, January 28 and Tuesday, January 29, 2013 with shows at 6:30pm & 8:30pm each night at Cedar Lake Theater, 547 W. 26th Street in Manhattan's West Chelsea Historic District. The exciting benefit will feature performances by more than a dozen of the most diverse dancers, dance companies and choreographers working today.

New York Theatre Ballet (NYTB) returns for a second season of Keith Michael's Nutcracker, an enchanting holiday ballet. This one-hour ballet is perfect for children ages 3-10, with clever choreography sophisticated enough for the most discerning parent. Opening night at New York City's Florence Gould Hall will be tonight, December 7 at 4:30 p.m., with additional shows on December 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21 and 22 (see schedule below).
