For 15 seasons, Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company has created masterful works of theatre art that honor the African American experience, lift up diverse voices, and create cultural understanding. In honor of those that have championed True Colors Theatre Company's mission of celebrating the tradition of Black storytelling while giving voice to bold new artists of all cultures, they announce the first annual True Colors Applauds: Ovation Circle Awards Brunch - which will take place on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Solis Hotel.

The Village Players closes its 95th season with the romantic musical comedy She Loves Me book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock.

REBEL AND MISFITS PRODUCTIONS is thrilled to announce their upcoming production of "The Realistic Joneses" by award-winning Will Eno, presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. This production, directed by Edward M. Coffield, is the St. Louis premiere of arguably the best work yet from one of America's most clever and perceptive playwrights of the past decade. The event will run for three weeks, Thursday through Sunday, from July 26th through August 12th at the Kranzberg Arts Center Theater

Innocent Brad and Janet find themselves seeking shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank 'n' Furter, his 'perfect' creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures.

The Bechdel Test Fest is offerings include a panel discussion, play readings, film screenings, children's workshops, music, and more! Plays and films from Arizona playwrights and filmmakers were selected by a panel of adjudicators and all pass the Bechdel Test: Two female-identifying characters who have a conversation with each other about something other than a man.

The Bridge Initiative: Women in Theatre is partnering with Tempe Center for the Arts to offer The Bechdel Test Fest, Saturday and Sunday, September 9th and 10th, at Tempe Center for the Arts. The festival offerings include a panel discussion, play readings, film screenings, children's workshops, music, and more. The plays and films are created by Arizona talent and pass the Bechdel Test: Two female-identifying characters who have a conversation with each other about something other than a man.

"The Realistic Joneses" which was performed on Broadway in 2014, combines comedy and pathos as Bob and Jennifer Jones meet new neighbors John and Pony Jones with identical homes and a common last name.
