It seemed safe enough...a group of television's nerdiest residents who just want to sing on Fox television. However, it was perhaps only a matter of time before The O'Reilly Factor's Bill O'Reilly found issue with his network's hit comedy GLEE. Last night, O'Reilly dedicated a special segment of his program to discussing the dangers and insensitivity of GLEE for its stabs at conservatives Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin during the Power of Madonna episode that aired on Tuesday.

Glee: The Power of Madonna will bow at #1 on next week's chart with a total of 100-120k., according to projections. The success follows news from The Hollywood Reporter, GLEE's highly anticipated Power of Madonna episode brought in big ratings for Fox with 13.5 million viewers tuning in.

Menzel Set for 4 Additional GLEE Appearances

According to her official website, Idina Menzel will be making four additional appearances on GLEE after her current stint is up. In this second installment of GLEE's first season, Menzel plays Shelby, coach of rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline. As previously reported, Menzel had been contracted to appear in episodes airing May 18, May 25, June 1 and June 8. She has appeared on the first two premiere episodes, as well. On this week's episode of GLEE, Mr. Schue, observing the bullying that the girl members of the club are receiving from the guys, gives his students an assignment: pick a Madonna song and, in the words of the songstress herself, 'Express Yourself.' The premise, a rehash of last week's assignment to find a 'Hello'-themed song, is already becoming tired and redundant; not only is the series getting less original, but its preachy aspects are amplified to incredible levels in this episode.

Seems like the cast of GLEE can add one more excited party to the 'Madonna' episode airing tomorrow, April 20 at 9:00pm on FOX, and that is the Queen of Pop herself. Says Madonna of the cast: 'The entire cast was amazing. They're all so talented. I especially loved Sue Sylvester and Kurt Hummel's characters.'

Celebrities from television, film and music all came out tonight for the unforgettable taping of the eighth annual 'TV Land Awards' premiering on Sunday, April 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Appearances included Billy Crystal, Jay Leno, Betty White, Paula Abdul, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick, Bob Newhart, Ryan O'Neal and more. Honorees included the cast of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' (Impact Award), Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner (Legend Award), the cast of 'Bosom Buddies' including Tom Hanks (Anniversary Award), cast members from 'Glee' (Future Classic Award), 'Charlie's Angels' (Pop Culture Award), 'The Love Boat' (Fan Favorite Award) and legendary punk rock band Blondie (Icon Award.) The show was taped on Saturday, April 17th and was hosted by Tim Allen on the historic Stage 15 on the Sony Lot in Culver City.
