THE MADRID, Starring Edie Falco, Extends Through 4/21

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced a one week extension for THE MADRID, the world premiere play by Liz Flahive (From Up Here, "Nurse Jackie"), directed by Leigh Silverman (In The Wake, Chinglish). Tickets for THE MADRID are now on sale through Sunday, April 21 with previews beginning Tuesday, February 5 for a Tuesday, February 26 opening at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Jeffrey Kuhn Joins the Cast of SILENCE! This Friday

Beginning this Friday, January 25th, Jeffrey Kuhn will assume the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter's nemesis, Dr. Chilton, in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run December 30th, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records held by the show. As a result, the producers determined that the smash hit show would reopen on January 19th. After opening at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre which was constructed especially for the show.

Silence! The Musical resumes performances today, January 19th, at the Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square. Single tickets will go on sale to the general public for Second Stage Theatre's revival of JASON ROBERT BROWN's musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS on Saturday, January 19th at 10am. Starring ADAM KANTOR and BETSY WOLFE, the beloved two-character musical, which has received more than 500 regional productions and 3,000 performances around the world, is returning to New York City after eleven years in an all-new staging directed by Mr. Brown. THE LAST FIVE YEARS will begin previews on Thursday, March 7 at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street). Opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2 at 7pm.
