Nathan Lane to Join Tyne Daly and Terrence McNally for MOTHERS AND SONS Talkback, 4/23

The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, now playing at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), will hold a special talkback on Wednesday, April 23rd with Terrence McNally and Tyne Daly joined by fellow Tony Award winner Nathan Lane, who previously worked with McNally on Love! Valour! Compassion!; Bad Habits; Lips Together, Teeth Apart; Dedication or the Stuff of Dreams; and the film version of Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally has announced today that it will offer a series of post-show talkbacks in conjunction with the Huffington Post Gay Voices on four consecutive Wednesday evenings (4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30) at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). Special guests will include LGBT activist and journalist David Mixner, attorney Roberta Kaplan, Huffington Post Gay Voices deputy editor Curtis M. Written and directed by Steve Cosson with songs by Michael Friedman, THE GREAT IMMENSITY is a highly theatrical look into one of the most vital questions of our time: how can we change ourselves and our society in time to solve the enormous environmental challenges that confront us? BWW Reviews: Delightful PETER AND THE STARCATCHER at the Peabody Opera House

Local author Ridley Pearson, along with Dave Barry, crafted an interesting 'prequel' to the story of Peter Pan with their entertaining novel PETER AND THE STARCATCHER. The stage production of this tale, written by Rick Elice, is a similarly imaginative effort that utilizes a relatively small cast, with just about everyone playing multiple roles, and a frenetic pace that captures the same qualities that distinguished the original work. An engaging touring production with a very talented cast played the Peabody Opera House this weekend (March 7-9, 2014), and it was well worth the trip. (more...)

The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally will offer a one-night-only special ticket price of $30 for patrons under the age of 30 for the Friday, March 14th performance of the show at 8PM. Ticket quantities are limited and must be purchased in person at the Golden Theatre box office at 252 West 45th Street during normal box office hours. Limit one ticket per patron with a valid ID. This performance will be followed by a talkback hosted by Playbill's Blake Ross and NY1'sFrank DiLella, with a panel discussion to include Terrence McNally and members of the cast. (more...)
