Cast members of Peter and the Starcatcher, including Celia Keenan-Bolger, Matthew Saldivar, Adam Chanler-Berat, Carson Elrod, Matt D'Amico, John Sanders, Betsy Hogg and Orville Mendoza today headed Off-Broadway to see SkippyJon Jones, the new children's musical written by their co-star, Kevin Del Aguila (Smee). According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hunger Games director Gary Ross will helm an upcoming film adaptation of PETER AND THE STARCATCHERS- the book on which the Tony-winning play is based. Jesse Wigutow is on board to pen the script.

Kimberly Stern is returning to the cast of Off-Broadway's SILENCE! The Musical tonight, July 18th in the role of Buffalo Bill's plus-sized victim, Catherine Martin. Tomorrow also marks the first performance of SILENCE! The Musical at its new home, the brand new Elektra Theatre in Times Square. Christian Borle, who won a 2012 Tony Award for his role as 'Black Stache' in PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, departed his role for the filming of season two of NBC's SMASH last week. Taking over the role is Matthew Saldivar, who has been seen on Broadway as Steve in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, Sammy in THE WEDDING SINGER and Kenickie in GREASE.
