Following a sell-out run at the Royal Court Theatre, NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE will broadcast the acclaimed West End transfer of Hangmen by Olivier and Academy Award winner Martin McDonagh (The Pillowman, The Cripple of Inishmaan, In Bruges), with a cast including David Morrissey, Andy Nyman and Johnny Flynn, live from London's Wyndham's Theatre to cinemas internationally on Thursday, March 3, 2016 (dates vary internationally). Producers Robert Fox, Matthew Byam Shaw for Playful Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions have revealed that Matthew Dunster's production of Martin McDonagh's Hangmen has recouped in under six weeks. The news comes as the production is announced the winner of the Critic's Circle 'Best New Play' and 'Best Design' Awards today. Following a sell out run at the Royal Court Theatre, Matthew Dunster's production of Martin McDonagh'sHangmen transferred to the West End for a strictly limited season in December and must end on 5 March.

Following a sell out run at the Royal Court Theatre, Matthew Dunster's award-winning production of Martin McDonagh's HANGMEN will transfer to the West End for a strictly limited season. HANGMEN, which recently finished its run at the Royal Court Theatre's Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, transfers to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre tonight 1 December 2015. David Morrissey, in the lead role of 'Harry', will travel with the production.

Full casting has today been announced for the West End run of the Royal Court Theatre's production of Hangmen. ProducersRobert Fox, Matthew Byam Shaw for Playful Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions are delighted to announce that Andy Nyman will play Syd, Craig Parkinson will take on the role of Inspector Fry and Tony Hirst will play Bill, completing the cast of the West End production. Directed by Matthew Dunster, Martin McDonagh's Hangmen will transfer to the Wyndham's Theatre for a strictly limited season, previewing from 1 December.  Check out the new trailer below!

According to the Daily Mail, Andy Nyman (ASSASSINS, ABIGAIL'S PARTY, GHOST STORIES) and Craig Parkinson (in several shows at Open Air Theatre, MARTIN GUERRE) will take over the roles of 'Syd' and 'Inspector Fry' when Martin McDonagh's HANGMEN transfers to the West End this winter.

HANGMEN by Martin McDonagh, currently playing the Royal Court Theatre's Jerwood Theatre Downstairs through 10 October, transfers to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre on 1 December 2015. David Morrissey, in the lead role, will travel with the production.

Robin Weaver, whose work includes The Inbetweeners (TV and films), and James Dryden, who appears in the film Mr Turner, lead the cast of Beached, at the Canterbury venue at the end of this month (October).
