Jackie Hoffman's A Chanukah Charol, her new holiday-themed, pseudo-autobiographical, one-woman show inspired by Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol, co-written and directed by Michael Schiralli, will add one more performance on Sunday January 8th, in order to accommodate the overwhelming demand for tickets.

Time Out NY Lounge will present Jackie Hoffman's A Chanukah Charol, her new holiday-themed, pseudo-autobiographical, one-woman show inspired by Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol. Michael Schiralli will direct. Performances will be Sunday December 11th, Sunday December 18th, Monday January 2nd (all at 7:30pm) at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street between Eighth & Ninth Avenues).

Transport Group,'s 2011 Gimme A Break! benefit honored playwright Douglas Carter Beane and composer/lyricist Lewis Flinn last night, December 5 at the Asia Society and Museum. Gimme A Break! began with a cocktail reception followed by a performance featuring Broadway stars sharing their 'big break' experiences through stories and songs. Beane and Flinn received the Transporting American Theatre Award for their outstanding contributions to American theatre.

Actors Temple Announces 11/20 Benefit

The Best of Broadway & Cabaret will come out in support of the Actors Temple, (est. 1917) on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 7 PM. This theater district historic landmark (339 West 47th Street) has fallen on hard times in recent years & is in dire need of help.
