Johnny Vegas, Al Murray and Count Arthur Strong are among the comics taking part in the first Chortle Comedy Book Festival which will take place in Ealing next month.

On September 29th in New York City, a cross generational gathering of some of the brightest stars and biggest names in folk music gathered in Town Hall for a one-night only concert performance.

Costa Mesa is about to get a huge dollop of Cole Porter's winsome musical magic this week when ANYTHING GOES, Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony Award-winning 2011 Revival, finally docks at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County for a limited one-week engagement, September 24-29. The show also serves as the final offering of the Center's 2012-2013 Broadway season. Starring alongside Rachel York (who plays Reno Sweeney) is actor-singer-songwriter Josh Franklin, who recently stepped into the role of Billy Crocker for the show's first national tour. Before setting sail for the O.C., Franklin agreed to be subjected to a few silly rapid-fire questions from BroadwayWorld's Michael Lawrence Quintos.

Stark Sands, along with many well known names, including Carey Mulligan ('The Great Gatsby'), the Avett Brothers, Marcus Mumford (from Mumford and Sons), Jack White, as well as Oscar Isaac, will be performing a sold out concert to honor the movie INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS, which comes out in December.

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that SNL has chosen five new cast members to be added to the ranks, including seasoned show writer Mike O'Brien. Also joining the show are Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney, the USC pair who founded the comedy group Good Neighbor, and physical comedians John Milhiser and Noel Wells.
