The scarlett theatre/film project, Robert E. Schneider and Jack Thomas/Bulldog Theatrical will present STUCK by Jessica Goldberg at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row from February 11 - 21. In a series that is unique because it develops new producers as well as new plays, three works were chosen from submissions by emerging or established producers, as well as from writers who hoped to be matched with a producer. Fulfilling TRU's mission of nurturing the producer-writer relationship, each of the plays this year is either produced by, or with the assistance of, a member of the TRU Producer Mentorship program.

The New York Times reports that producer Jeffrey Richards has announced that the current revival Eugene O'Neill DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS starring two-time Tony Award winner Brian Dennehy, stage and screen star Carla Gugino, and Tony nominee Pablo Schreiber, under the direction of Tony Award Winner Robert Falls will close May 24 at the St. James Theatre after a run of 32 performances.

The Broadway run of DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS would appear to be ending earlier than planned if Telecharge is any indication, the ticket service is now only selling seats for the production through May 24th, 2009.
