As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this week, Tony® nominee and Emmy® winner Sean Hayes will play God in a limited 14-week engagement of the hit Broadway comedy An Act of God at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street) beginning May 28, 2016. David Javerbaum's comedy returns to New York after launching the 2015-2016 Broadway season in a sold-out, critically acclaimed run and a second Godly successful run starring Sean Hayes in Los Angeles.
An Act of God goes on sale to the general public beginning today, April 1, 2016 through www.telecharge.com or 212-239-6200. Beginning Monday, May 2, tickets can also be purchased at the Booth Theatre box office (222 West 45th Street).

Stage musical Witches of Eastwick was adapted from John Updike's novel of the same name thirteen years after the film was released in 1987- starring Jack Nicholson, Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer. The show opened in London to mixed reviews but since then has been performed internationally. The last time it was seen professionally in this country was on the 2008 UK tour, starring Marti Pellow - a production I was fortunate enough to see.
