59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) welcomes the return engagement of the East to Edinburgh and Edinburgh Fringe favorite VIVIAN'S MUSIC, 1969, written by Monica Bauer and directed by Glory Kadigan.

The Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company has announced a limited engagement of Henry James' classic horror tale The Turn of the Screw in an adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher. Under the direction of Don K. Williams, the production will feature Sean Spann and Emily Sulzberger playing a total of 10 roles between them. Opening is set for Saturday, September 29, at 8pm.

The Miranda Theatre Company, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and production of new plays, announces Pop-Up Productions - an innovative new theatregoing experience. Debuting this fall, the new format will offer a disruption from traditional seasonal programming with a variety of limited engagement productions at venues throughout New York City. Each Pop-Up Production will be announced six weeks in advance or sooner with simultaneous online ticket sales at a set ticket price of $25 (and some at no cost at all). Circle Theatre announces the fourth show of their 2018 Season: Sarah Ruhl's, Stage Kiss. As previously announced, Circle's original fourth show (Out of the Mouth of Babes, by Israel Horovitz), was dropped after multiple, sexual misconduct allegations against the playwright. Executive Director, Tim Long, says, "We could not in good conscience produce his play. We are saddened by this development, but encouraged by the stories of these brave women." Stage Kiss will run from August 16 through September 15, 2018.

Luis Salgado (In The Heights) will direct a one-night-only free reading of "Checo, Albany" by Hadasa Mercado Cortes on Feb 15th. The reading will be presented by THE BLUESTONE PROJECT, as part of the first season presenting never-produced plays that address the shifting socio-political American landscape.

Theatre UCF is replacing the previously scheduled play The Day Before Yesterday with Rebecca Gilman's Boy Gets Girl to run Feb. 22-March 4. The decision to change the play was made after the writer of The Day Before Yesterday, Israel Horovitz, was accused by nine women of sexual misconduct. Horovitz had been scheduled to attend UCF's performance.

Circle Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas has issued a statement stating that they have pulled the play 'Out of the Mouth of Babes' by playwright Israel Horovitz from their upcoming season following sexual assault allegations against Horovitz, which came to light earlier this week.

Jobsite Theater is cancelling the scheduled production of Israel Horovitz' new play Man in Snow in light of a report in today's The New York Times, bringing to an end a collaboration with the playwright that dates back to 2014.
