Lookingglass Theatre Company concludes its 29th Season with its award-winning production of Moby Dick, adapted and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin, from the book by Herman Melville, in association with The Actors Gymnasium. Moby Dick runs June 7 - September 3, 2017 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

Albert, concludes the 2016-2017 Season with the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy Harvey by Mary Chase, directed by Devon De Mayo. Harvey runs May 11 - June 11, 2017 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue in Chicago. The Press Opening is Saturday, May 20 at 8:00 p.m.

Pericles marks the 24th Shakespearean production for the Porters on their quest to completing the canon. Artistic Director Charles Pasternak returns to the directing chair and Leon Russom to the boards. They last worked together on 2014's production of Henry V, a critical and audience hit, which received Ovation, BroadwayWorld, and Valley Theatre Award nominations. BWW Review: MIRANDA Thrills at Indiana Repertory Theatre

Miranda is a CIA operative working in Yemen in the current upperstage production at the Indiana Repertory Theatre. Written by IRT's playwright-in-residence James Still, the show is the third play in a trilogy he created. The first play, The House that Jack Built premiered at the IRT in 2012. The second play, Appoggiatura, is part of the theatre's 2017/18 season. Each play works as a stand alone, but they deal with a single family and a tragedy that has shaped their lives.
THE GAMBLER Takes Audiences on a Whirlwind Roulette Wheel

Heimbold Chair in Irish Studies and renowned playwright Owen McCafferty and directed by Philadelphia favorite David Bradley. In this provocative new piece, McCafferty brilliantly transforms Fyodor Dostoevsky's classic novella for the stage. Audiences will be transported by a whirlwind of love, gambling, and politics as our narrator spins the roulette wheel, inviting audiences to 'take a chance' on the unexpected. The Gambler is on stage April 26-30, 2017.

Triad Stage, a professional, not-for-profit, regional theater in Greensboro, NC, will stage the North Carolina debut of a new one-woman play that traces the path of a young Cherokee woman's great-great grandparents who were forced to relocate from their homelands in the 1830s along the Trail of Tears. Virginia Repertory Theatre opens the World Premiere of The End of War by David L. Robbins on March 10, 2017, on the Arenstein Stage at the Sara Belle and Neil November Theatre, 114 West Broad Street. The End of War will have two preview performances on March 8 and 9, 2017, and will run through March 26, 2017.
