The original Broadway cast recording for new musical IF/THEN, starring Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, is now available for pre-order.

The generosity of theatre fans during six weeks of fundraising by 57 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies helped push the 28th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition to another record high, raising $4,532,129 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The Walt Disney Company recently announced a unique new endeavor via the release of a teaser trailer for a new music compilation titled DCONSTRUCTED, which will feature EDM renditions of a vast assortment of Disney classics crafted by many of the world's top DJs, and the collection is out today.

Disney's hit animated film FROZEN is now the highest internationally grossing film of all time.

Broadway veterans will share the stage with celebrated newcomers as Bryan Cranston, Fran Drescher, James Franco, Idina Menzel,Denzel Washington and more than 200 of Broadway and off-Broadway's most talented performers come together for the 28th AnnualEaster Bonnet Competition. On Wednesday, April 16, 2014, the captivating acro-cabaret variety show, ABSINTHE, celebrated its third anniversary at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Following a full standing ovation during the show's finale, ABSINTHE's eccentric producer - The Gazillionaire - took the stage to address the crowd, expressing gratitude for the community's ongoing support of the show. At the conclusion of his speech, the company was presented with a commemorative Spiegeltent-shaped cake onstage featuring The Gazillionaire, his zany assistant Penny Pibbets and her infamous sock puppets, and ABSINTHE's 'Green Fairy' Melody Sweets. After my experience with the story, I thought I knew the characters G(a)linda and Elphaba, however Kara Lindsay (G[a]linda) and Laurel Harris (Elphaba) have shown me new characters. Their singing and acting styles have put two new characters on stage that haven't been seen before. I would have been happy to have these two introduce the characters to me, as it was, I enjoyed them showing me another side of each character.
