The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Hell's Kitchen has extended dates through August for 'Branded Content Will Set You Free,' and 'The Scumbags of '77,' which were written and co-written by infamous UCB luminary Alex Estrada. UCB bigwig John Sartori shares a writing credit for 'Scumbags.'

The co-producers behind The Kilbanes' Weightless, a hit rock opera-retelling of Ovid's Metamorphoses, as well as New York's Obie Award-winning The Tricky Part and Lucille Lortel Award-winning All the Rage, return to San Francisco with a new production of A Lesson From Aloes, to be presented at Z Below. Written by internationally-acclaimed playwright Athol Fugard and directed by Obie Award winner Timothy Near, this inventive revival will feature a star-studded cast of regional theatre's finest actors. Fillmore Elementary educators are back in session with their hilarious antics when Season three of 'Teachers' premieres Today, June 5th at 10:30pm ET/PT on TV Land, following the season five premiere of 'Younger.' After a much needed long recess, the leaders of the playground are back and ready to conquer a new school year. Last season, Variety hailed the cast, stating, 'in terms of acing the midterm, the Katydids have indeed done it,' while Bustle said 'the female-driven sitcom is hilarious, insightful, and totally cute.'

'Branded Content Will Set You Free,' a dystopian sketch revue running at the new Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in Hell's Kitchen, has been extended through May 2018. The show, which takes place in a grimdark future where all content is branded, was featured in a UCB industry showcase in March 2015. 'Branded Content Will Set You Free' features appearances and performances by Joanna Hausmann (Netflix's Bill Nye Saves The World, Univision's Flama Digital Comedy Network) Gianmarco Soresi (TBS's The Last O.G, Caroline's Up And Coming Comics), Audrey Stanfield, John Sartori, Max Brand, Brittany MacDonald, and Lindsay-Elizabeth Hand. It was written by notorious UCB personality Alex Estrada and is directed by Ellena Chmielewski (Liminal Salon, Standards and Practices).
