BRANDED CONTENT WILL SET YOU FREE Continues Run At UCB Hell's Kitchen Theater

"Branded Content Will Set You Free," a dystopian sketch revue running at the new Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in Hell's Kitchen, has been extended through May 2018. The show, which takes place in a grimdark future where all content is branded, was featured in a UCB industry showcase in March 2015. "Branded Content Will Set You Free" features appearances and performances by Joanna Hausmann (Netflix's Bill Nye Saves The World, Univision's Flama Digital Comedy Network) Gianmarco Soresi (TBS's The Last O.G, Caroline's Up And Coming Comics), Audrey Stanfield, John Sartori, Max Brand, Brittany MacDonald, and Lindsay-Elizabeth Hand. It was written by notorious UCB personality Alex Estrada and is directed by Ellena Chmielewski (Liminal Salon, Standards and Practices).

"This masterpiece contains the most impactful, most profitable, most powerful content the world has ever seen," stated Youtuber Big Man Tyrone in a video address to his 300,000 followers, "It is guaranteed to make you laugh." Big Man Tyrone's full statement is available here.

The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre is an improvisational and sketch comedy theater founded by the Upright Citizens Brigade troupe members, including Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, and Matt Walsh. The new Hell's Kitchen theater is located at 555 West 42nd Street in Manhattan. Tickets are available on the UCB website.
