The sellout hit play 45 Milligrams by Ian Kaye is set for two Hollywood Fringe Festival Encore! Producers' Award performances on Saturday, July 6, at 7pm and Sunday, July 7, at 6:30pm at the Broadwater Black Box, it was announced today. Running time is 30 minutes. 

45 Milligrams, a new play written, produced and co-starring Ian Kaye, is making its world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2019. The show is a darkly comic look at mental health, marrying absurdist text with stylized physicality to call into question how conceptions of sanity are formed.

'A dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity..." well, not quite. Thyma and Aspid find themselves trapped- in a barren room with two locked doors, but where are they? What sets them free? And most importantly, what happens after this? The Same Room explores human compassion in a new light and begs the question- What becomes of us when we refuse to heal?

More than 700 members of New York City's philanthropic, business and health care communities will join forces at the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation Life Without Lupus Gala 2012 today, November 19, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at The American Museum of Natural History. Aptly named "Turning Lupus Research Upside Down," this year's black tie gala, hosted by Willie Geist, NBC-TV talk show host, is expected to raise over $2 million to support the most innovative research. In keeping with the stature of the event, guests will be treated to a performance by Audra McDonald, 2012 Tony Award winner named Best Actress in a Musical for her starring role in Gershwin's classic Porgy and Bess.
