JERSEY BOYS Celebrates Summer WIth New Performance Times

To celebrate summer, Sunday performances of the international multi award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS at the Prince Edward Theatre will start at the later time of 5.00pm from Sunday 5 June, for 13 weeks through to 28 August.

JERSEY BOYS to Launch Second National Tour in December 2011!

Due to overwhelming demand across North America, the producers have announced a second touring production of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, launching in Philadelphia, PA at the Forrest Theater on December 6, 2011 for a six week engagement. Press opening night is scheduled for December 9, 2011. Additional tour dates for both National Touring Companies are listed below

A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL to Launch National Tour in November!

This holiday season, America's #1 Christmas movie comes to life on stage as a hilarious holiday musical. A Christmas Story, The Musical! features a bright holiday score by composer/lyricist team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and a book by Joseph Robinette based on the writings of radio humorist Jean Shepherd and the 1983 holiday film favorite. Acclaimed director/choreographer Warren Carlyle (Broadway's Finian's Rainbow, Follies at The Kennedy Center, An Evening With Hugh Jackman) will helm the production. Peter Billingsley, who starred as Ralphie in the original 1983 film, serves as a producer for the holiday tour.

Tamyra Gray & Cleavant Derricks Lead TWIST Musical at Pasadena Playhouse this Summer

The Pasadena Playhouse has announced that full casting is complete for the west coast premiere of the new musical TWIST - An American Musical by William F. Brown and Tina Tippit (book), Tena Clark (lyrics and music) and Gary Prim (music). Golden Globe and multi-Emmy Award-winner Debbie Allen directs a cast of 31 performers led by Tamyra Gray ('American Idol,' Rent and Bombay Dreams) and Cleavant Derricks (Tony Award-winner, Dreamgirls). The five-week limited engagement performs June 14 - July 17, 2011 with the official press opening on June 26, 2011 at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue).

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the smash-hit musical with productions in Chicago, New York, London, and a national tour to start this fall, announces 'Do You Have What It Takes?,' an online casting contest to find musician/singer/actors for the roles of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins.
