The new Broadway musical Baby It's You! tells the inspiring story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who changed the recording world forever when she discovered The Shirelles and created Scepter Records, becoming the music industry's first female powerhouse. Starring Tony Award winner Beth Leavel as Greenberg, conceived by Floyd Mutrux, directed by Floyd Mutrux and Sheldon Epps, and written by Tony nominated book writers Mutrux and Colin Escott, the team behind Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet, Baby It's You! began performances at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) Saturday, March 26, 2011, and opens TONIGHT, April 27, 2011, at 6:30pm. Baby It's You! features a cast of 19 that includes Allan Louis, Geno Henderson, Erica Ash, Kelli Barrett, Kyra DaCosta, Crystal Starr Knighton, Barry Pearl, Christina Sajous, Brandon Uranowitz, Alison Cimmet, Erica Dorfler, Berlando Drake, Adam Heller, Jahi A. Yesterday, April 25, Daniel Radcliffe celebrated his cover of Gotham Magazine at Salon De Ning at the Peninsula Hotel in New York City. The magazine is out on newsstands this week. In the magazine, he talks about learning to become a song and dance man, why New York is 'cool' and why an English accent can get you far in America.

Yesterday evening, Clement took the stage of the Nederlander Theatre to join the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET in the special encore. Cowboy Jack Clement is a legendary songwriter and record producer. On the date of the 1956 Million Dollar Quartet sessions at Sun Records, Jack was the engineer. Without Cowboy Jack, Presley, Cash, Lewis & Perkin's impromptu recording session would never have been documented on tape. Cowboy Jack has worked with such legends as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, Bobby Bare, Elvis Presley, Jim Reeves, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cliff Richard, Charley Pride, Tom Jones, Dickey Lee, Hank Snow, and Waylon Jennings.

The tour of the current smash hit Broadway production of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Pittsburgh, Penn. WEST SIDE STORY will open at the Benedum Center on Tuesday, May 11, 2011. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction will be recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, Broadway's hit musical, is pleased to announce that Cowboy Jack Clement, will join the cast of the Tony nominated Best Musical for a special performance during the finale of the Thursday evening, April 21 performance at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street).

David Hasselhoff attended JERSEY BOYS at the Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino on Tuesday, April 19. After the show, Hasselhoff went backstage to meet and congratulate the boys on a stunning performance. The 50th Anniversary production of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical comedy HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, starring Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette, will get a new cast recording from Decca Broadway. The album, produced by five-time Grammy nominee Robert Sher, was recorded by the cast and orchestra on Monday, April 11 at the legendary Manhattan Center in New York City and will be released on iTunes Tuesday, May 24 and in stores on Tuesday, June 7. AVENUE Q is the smash-hit Broadway musical about real life in New York City, as told by a cast of people and puppets through a hilariously irreverent, Tony-winning book and score. The three-time Tony Award winning musical returns to the Triangle after popular demand at DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center, for two performances April 19-20, 2011 at 7:30pm.

The national tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY comes to Boston's Colonial Theatre for a four week engagement June 14 through July 9.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the cast of HOW TO SUCCEED is in the recording studio today with Decca Records at work on the show's cast album. Radcliffe has hinted on Regis & Kelly recently that he and the cast would be recording sometime in April. Fans of the show will be able to hear their favorite songs in early June upon the album's release!
