Florida is hot. Right? It's hot sand, hot sun...hot musical theatre talent? YOU BET!. We welcomed the FSU "'Noles" to Broadway Sessions recently to celebrate their tremendous theatre program. '17 grads took the stage alongside Broadway vets Heather Parcells, Harris Milgrim, Christiani Pitts, Michael Hunker, Jennifer Swiderski and Stephen Anthony! The results were, well…HOT! Florida, after all.

ANASTASIA'S Ian Knauer hosts the Broadway Artists & Friends Mic & Mingle on Monday, May 22nd at 6:30pm (doors open at 5:30pm). The evening will be kicked off by a stellar line up of Broadway pros (listed below) followed by selected artists at the legendary Laurie Beechman Theatre.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week.

The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) presents its season kick-off event, 'Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle,' hosted by six-time Broadway veteran Heather Parcells on Monday, April 17th.

Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, present Broadway's longest-running American musical, Chicago, which performs on the Stark Stage from January 3 - 22, 2017. Chicago is sponsored by Laura and Bill Frick and Riverside Theatre's Patron Producers Group.

The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) All Stars Benefit for CAT Youth Theatre on Monday, November 14th (7pm) at the Laurie Beechman Theatre is BAC's biggest & final event of the season!  The evening hosted by Antoine L. Smith (THE COLOR PURPLE) will feature many Broadway favorites with a combined 34 Broadway credits (listed below), BAC's 2016 open mic winners & a performance by the students of CAT Youth Theatre.

Broadway Veterans Heather Parcells (A Chorus Line, Finding Neverland), Tracee Beazer (Something Rotten, CAMP), James Patterson (Gigi, Beauty and the Beast), Brian Keane (Warhorse, Cyrano) will join the cast of the new media television project, Off The Runway.

In advance of the NYC premiere of Naomi Wallace's 1993 play The War Boys to be directed by James Will McBride, The Artist's Crossing presents a special panel discussion and reading of the play at The Americas Society on October 17, 2016 at 7:00pm.

Celebrating the release of the original Broadway Cast Recording of TUCK EVERLASTING, cast members Andrew Keenan Bolger, Michael Parkand Michael Wartella joined composer Chris Miller, lyricist Nathan Tysen and co-bookwriter Tim Federle for a three-song performance, discussion and signing at the Barnes and Noble at 86th & Lexington Ave (150 East 86th Street, New York, NY 10028) earlier this month. The Tony Awards aired last night on CBS (yeah yeah yeah, we know you know). The show was lovely and came at just the right moment, given all the horrific things happening in our world. We, at Broadway Sessions, got to celebrating last Thursday night as we welcomed Tony Award winner Daisy Eagan. We also celebrated the show that were "snubbed" with fabulous performances from Disaster's Olivia Phillip and Bway vet and Tuck Everlasting cast member Heather Parcells. Lion King and Ragtime vet DeMone Seraphin was also on hand to the delight of the fun loving crowd. "Rising Stars" Erin Christine Walsh, Julia Rose Hines and Daniel Joseph Baker knocked it out of the park. Enjoy the insanity here.

The evening will be kicked off by a stellar line up of Broadway pros followed by selected 'aspiring artists & talented friends' at the legendary Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 W 42nd Street.

TUCK EVERLASTING plays its final performance today, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 7:30pm after playing 28 previews and 39 regular performances at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 W. 44th St.).TUCK EVERLASTING began previews March 31 and officially opened on April 26, 2016.
