Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, Brian D'Arcy James, Richard Thomas, Bryce Pinkham, Jay O. Sanders, Ari Graynor, Katherine Waterston, Emily Young, Oliver Platt, Justin Levine and Heath Calvert and Lapham's Quarterly Editor Lewis Lapham will celebrate the release of Lapham's Quarterly's new POLITICS issue on Monday, October 15 at 7:00 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public. The evening will feature songs and selected readings centered on politics, money and power. The cast featured Kristine Reese (Les Miserables, Wicked) as Gossip, Farah Alvin (The Last Smoker in America, The Marvelous Wonderettes) as Dallas, Heath Calvert (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Hair) as Tim, and Trey Mitchell (The Jungle Fun Room) as Andy.

Acting under what he declared were the choices and movements of the people, he initiated ethnic cleansing in the United States through the forced relocation of Native American tribes from the Southeast to the west of the Mississippi River. He became Father of the Democratic Party and defeated the British at the notorious Battle of New Orleans.

Following a successful 23rd Annual Festival of New Musicals held in NYC Oct. 27-28. The National Alliance for Musical Theatre held a party at Southern Hospitality. This year's Festival attaracted over 650 people representing 300 organizations from around the country including Europe attending the eight new musicals that were presented.
