Danai Gurira's FAMILIAR Extends at Playwrights Horizons

Due to critical acclaim and popular demand, Playwrights Horizons has announced an extension of their New York premiere production of FAMILIAR, a new play by Obie Award-winner Danai Gurira (Eclipsed now on Broadway, In the Continuum, The Convert, Michonne on AMC's 'The Walking Dead'). Directed by Rebecca Taichman (Stage Kiss, Milk Like Sugar at PH; The Oldest Boy; Marie Antoinette; Luck of the Irish; Orlando), the play is the fourth production of the theater company's 2015/2016 Season.

The Andy Warhol Museum announces the public presentation of 10 rarely seen Andy Warhol Screen Tests on Times Square's electronic billboards from 11:57 p.m. to midnight each night in May 2015. The screenings are part of the ongoing project Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation by The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts. Among the Screen Tests shown are those of Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsberg, Lou Reed, Harry Smith, and Edie Sedgwick.

AND THEN THERE WERE NONE is not only Dame Agatha Christie's best-selling novel, but the world's best-selling mystery. Over 100 million copies of the book have been sold to date in 50 different languages. The success of her novel, published in 1939, led to AND THEN THERE WERE NONE becoming her most adapted work. The stage adaptation came in 1943 with a world premiere at the Wimbledon Theatre in London. In November of that same year the production transferred to the West End. Its Broadway premiere came in June, 1944 under the title Ten Little Indians.
