Monty Python's SPAMALOT, the madcap Tony Award-winning musical continues Surflight Theatre's 65th Anniversary Seasonfrom July 30 - August 24. Directed by Charlie Siedenburg and choreographed by Jenn Rapp, with music direction by Henco Espag, Monty Python's SPAMALOT will have a press opening on July 31 at 8pm.

This fall, FOX attracts an all-star lineup of guest voices on returning animated series AMERICAN DAD, beginning Sunday, Sept. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), with two back-to back episodes; THE SIMPSONS (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) and a special one-hour broadcast of FAMILY GUY (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), premiering Sunday, Sept. 28; and BOB'S BURGERS, debuting Sunday, Oct. 5 (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT).

Multiple Emmy Award winner Hank Azaria (THE SIMPSONS) has been cast as BUD BUCKWALD, the lead voice role on BORDERTOWN, the new animated comedy from FAMILY GUY's Mark Hentemann and Seth MacFarlane. Azaria joins the previously announced voice cast of Alex Borstein (FAMILY GUY, “Getting On”), Missi Pyle (“Jennifer Falls,” “Gone Girl”), Judah Friedlander (“30 Rock”), Nicholas Gonzalez (SLEEPY HOLLOW) and guest voice Efren Ramirez (“Napoleon Dynamite”).

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, in conjunction with Gracie Films, presents the world premiere of The Simpsons Take the Bowl! on Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13, at 8:00 PM and Sunday, September 14, at 7:30 PM at the Hollywood Bowl. The event, hosted by Hank Azaria, will feature special guest appearances by Nancy Cartwright, Beverly D'Angelo, Jon Lovitz, Yeardley Smith, 'Weird Al' Yankovic, and Matt Groening, with more to be announced.

According to an Equity casting notice, a developmental lab of the new musical version of ANASTASIA -- featuring book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens -- will be held at Pearl Studios this August. The stage version by Tommy Murphy captures all its special magic. Producers Nick Hardcastle and Nate Jones launch their newly formed Australian Theatre Company with the Los Angeles premiere of Holding the Man, featuring an all-Australian cast and directed by veteran Hollywood acting coach Larry Moss. Opening night is May 10 at the Matrix Theatre.

The project 'centers on Nick (Stults), a successful, suave ladies man working as a sportscaster for a local Los Angeles TV station whose perfect life gets turned upside down when his mess of a cousin needs a place to stay. Rupp plays Merle, Nick's sweet, no-nonsense, widowed mother who lives nearby. Anders plays Stacey, the smart, tough lead anchor of the local news in L.A. where Nick does the sports.'
