The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the extention of FASHION ACADEMY, THE MUSICAL, a new musical with book by Sheryl Berk and Sabrina Chap and music and lyrics by Sabrina Chap, based on the book Fashion Academy by Sheryl Berk and Carrie Berk, authors of the popular chapter book, Peace, Love, and Cupcakes: The Cupcake Club. The production is directed by Sam Viverito and will continue performances at the Theater at Blessed Sacrament, 152 West 71st Street, just east of Broadway, on Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30 pm, through February 28th. Prospect Theater Company presents its annual gala, 2013's Spring Soiree, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a beautiful and unique waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park. This special one-night only event will be held on Monday, May 6 from 6pm - 10:30pm, with an 8pm concert performance, to feature performances by Broadway friends as well as Prospect stars! Guests will be treated to a sneak peek of songs from upcoming 2013 - 2014 Prospect productions, as well as encore performances from previous Prospect shows. The evening's line up of writers includes work by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Marisa Michelson and Joshua H. Cohen, Peter Mills, and Ryan Scott Oliver, among others.
