GHOST LIGHT SESSIONS Air on Facebook Tomorrow!

On Thursday, January 19th, Ghost the Musical hosted The Ghost Light Sessions Live, a special sneak peek presentation at the historic Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. In an unprecedented presentation for a Broadway musical, Facebook users will have exclusive access to screenings of this very special event on Tuesday, January 24th. The Ghost Light Sessions will provide an exciting opportunity for fans to get a first look at performances from the show as well as hear from the cast and creative team about bringing this highly anticipated new musical to Broadway. The Ghost Light Sessions screenings will be streamed three times throughout the day on Tuesday 1/24 at 9am, 4:30pm & 9pm. All times are Eastern.

The producers of Ghost The Musical are proud to announce full casting for the Broadway production. Joining previously announced stars Richard Fleeshman (Sam Wheat), Caissie Levy (Molly Jensen), Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Oda Mae Brown), and Bryce Pinkham (Carl Bruner) will be Tyler McGee, Lance Roberts, Moya Angela, Jason Babinsky, Michael Balderrama, James Brown III, Stephen Carrasco, Jeremy Davis, Sharona D'Ornellas, Josh Franklin, Albert Guerzon, Afra Hines, Carly Hughes, Karen Hyland, Alison Luff, Vasthy Mompoint, Jennifer Noble, Joe Aaron Reid, Constantine Rousouli, Jennifer Sanchez, Daniel Watts, and Jesse Wildman.

In advance of the Broadway transfer of Ghost The Musical, Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy handed over the leading roles of Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen as they are headed for Broadway. Mark Evans (Welsh TV star and last on stage in the West End as Fiyero in Wicked) and Siobhan Dillon (finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webber's first reality TV show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and most recently on stage in the West End in Legally Blonde The Musical) will take on the West End roles on Friday January 13th. In the video below, the Broadway-bound duo says goodbye to the West End production as they travel to the Great White Way!

We will snuff out the ghost light, which is traditionally left on stage when the theatre is empty to ward off the ghosts of past productions, and welcome this extraordinary new musical to Broadway.

Accoring to a report by Baz Bamigboye in UK Daily Mail, Caissie Levy will play Molly in the upcoming Ghost musical. Ghost will begin previews at the Piccadilly Theatre in London on June 22.

RIALTO CHATTER: SPIDEY Pushes Opening Back to January

As BroadwayWorld reported last night, according to the NY Times, the Broadway run of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark was rumored to be postponed once again; this time, because of safety issues. inspectors from The New York Department of Labor visited the Foxwoods Theatre to take a look at the flying devices and methods being used. Because they saw only some of the dozens of aerial stunts in the show, delays in the opening are likely. If the Department of Labor approves of the rest of the stunts in the next 10 days, then performances will begin on November 14.

This second performer - who is remaining anonymous - claims to have broken both feet during the same catapult stunt from which Kevin Aubin broke both wrists, as BroadwayWorld reported earlier today.

Recently, the Associated Press was invited inside the Foxwoods Theatre to observe SPIDER-MAN in rehearsal. As reported on ABC News today, reporter Mark Kennedy reveals that the production will feature '41 cast members, 18 orchestra members and about 18 new songs by U2's Bono and the Edge.' The spared-no-expense 60M production also features a circular conveyor belt and high-intensity arial choreography by Cirque du Soliel.

On September 10, Spider-Man Reeve Carney introduced the first song from the upcoming Broadway show, 'Boy Falls From the Sky' on Good Morning America. Carney performed the song, composed by Bono and The Edge at the Hudson Theatre in the Millennium Hotel, with the performance broadcast live during the 8am-9am hour. While on their 360 Tour in Portugal, Bono and The Edge themselves treated fans to their rendition of the song. Click below to watch!
