The 16th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Film Awards, presented by The Los Angeles Times, have announced that DreamWorks Animation's RISE OF THE GUARDIANS will receive this year's 'Hollywood Animation Award' at the festival's gala ceremony on October 22, 2012, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Charlie Day makes his hosting debut on November 5. Day currently stars in the hit FX comedy series, 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.' In addition to starring, he also serves as a creator, writer and executive producer for the series. He was most recently seen in the summer blockbuster comedy 'Horrible Bosses,' and will start production later this year on the highly anticipated Guillermo Del Toro movie, 'Pacific Rim.'
