The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Jonathan Silverstein - Artistic Director, Mark Armstrong - Keen Teens Producer) will present the Tenth Season of Keen Teens.  This season's offerings will be Thirty Million, a new musical with music and lyrics by Max Vernon; book by Jason Kim, directed by Mark Armstrong, with choreography by Brad Landers and musical direction by Lena Gabrielle; Landlines by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, directed by Liz Carlson; and How The Moon Would Talk by Nick Gandiello, directed by Sash Bischoff. Auditions will be February 3rd through 5th. The One-Minute Play Festival, Boston Public Works Theater Company, and Boston Playwrights' Theatre continue their dynamic annual partnership for The 5th Annual Boston One-Minute Play Festival, with part of the proceeds to benefit new play programing and artist funding at Boston Public Works Theater Company and Boston Playwrights' Theatre.

The National Theatre of Great Britain's North American wing (Tim Levy, Producer) in collaboration with Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian, Tom Wirtshafter, and Patrick Daly have announced the North American premiere of playwright Lucy Prebble's award-winning new play The Effect. With direction by David Cromer, the entirely American production of The Effect will open at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street at 7th Avenue) in March 2016. Urinteown writer Greg Kotis' latest production Pig Farm, is set, unsurprisingly, on a Pig Farm in small town USA, where farmer Tom lives with his wife Tina and Tim, a teenage delinquent working on the farm as part of his probation.

Dan Fredenburgh (Tom), Erik Odom (Tim), Charlotte Parry (Tina) and Stephen Tompkinson (Teddy) comprise the full cast for Pig Farm, running at the St. James Theatre from 21 October until 21 November, with press night on 28 October.  Written by Tony Award® winning Urinetown The Musical writer Greg Kotis, Pig farm is being directed by Katharine Farmer, with design by Carla Goodman, lighting by Jason Taylor, sound by John Leonard, fights by Malcolm Ranson and casting by Kate Plantin CDG.  BroadwayWorld brings you a first look below!

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is now accepting projects for development during the 2016 National Music Theater Conference. Applicants may submit music theater works for consideration through Monday, November 23rd, 2015. The authors of works selected for the 2016 conference will be awarded a two week residency during June or July with a stipend, housing, meals, and transportation to support an intensive rehearsal process and four script-in-hand public readings.

On Friday, October 16, The Chernuchin Theatre, one of the theatres housed at The American Theatre for Actors (ATA, 314 West 54th Street, New York City) was named for beloved Broadway legend and two-time Tony Award winner John Cullum. He is best known as Holling, the bartender in 'Northern Exposure.'
