Goodspeed Musicals will present its much-anticipated new production of Mame. The brassy musical comedy will run from April 20 - July 1 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2012, single tickets may be purchased by visiting the Box Office open seven days a week at 6 Main Street, East Haddam, Conn.; by calling 860.873.8668; or on-line at goodspeed.org. DOMA Theatre Company kicks off its 2012 season of musical theater with a revival of The Who's Tommy. Hallie Baran directs the Tony Award-winning rock opera that features a book by Pete Townshend and Des McAnuff; music and lyrics by The Who's Pete Townshend; and additional music and lyrics by John Entwistle, Keith Moon and Sonny Boy Williamson. Musical director is Chris Raymond and Angela Todaro choreographs. Performances take place March 23 through April 15 at The MET Theatre in Los Angeles.

Reel Music is a sweeping journey through the heart of movies. Celebrate the songs that provided a soundtrack to the last century, with songs like 'MoonRiver,' 'Toot-Toot-Tootsie,' 'Fame,' 'Flashdance,' 'As Time Goes By,' and 'The Way We Were.'

[Official Press Opening will be May 9, 2012.] Come along for the madcap adventures of Auntie Mame and her adoring nephew. Surrounded by an eccentric cast of characters, she celebrates the Roaring 20s, overcomes tragedy and sails through life without missing a fad or a dance step. Jerry Herman's delightful score is packed with favorites "Bosom Buddies," "We Need a Little Christmas" and more. Brimming with optimism and zest, Mame will keep you laughing while warming your heart!

Casting is announced for Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater's production of Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN. Artistic Director Molly Smith helms this classic family musical, which stars the previously announced Kate Baldwin (Tony Award nominee for Broadway's Finian's Rainbow) as Marian the librarian, who will be joined by Burke Moses (original Gaston in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast) as Harold Hill. The Music Man runs May 11-July 22, 2012 in the Fichandler Stage.

I CAN'T WAIT: THE SONGS OF PATRICK DWYER, a new revue of songs by the theatre/cabaret songwriter, will be presented at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, 61 Christopher Street at 7th Avenue, on Saturday February 25 at 4:30pm and Monday February 27 at 7pm. The hour-long show will feature the vocal talents of Teal Wicks, Robb Sapp and Tally Sessions.

ASKING FOR IT, a one-woman show by Joanna Rush, will play on Thursday, March 29 at 8:30 pm at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center as part of the Target® Free Thursdays program to mark Women's History Month. Admission is free.
