Production Begins On TV Land's First Original Sitcom HOT IN CLEVELAND 5/10

TV Land announced today that production on the network's first original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland' starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White will begin on Monday, May 10. The 10 episode series premieres June 16 at 10pm on TV Land. The sitcom is TV Land's first foray into scripted comedy series and is a TV Land PRIME presentation. 'Hot in Cleveland' is executive produced by Emmy(R) Award-winner Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions and is helmed by Emmy(R) Award-winning Suzanne Martin ('Frasier,' 'Ellen') serving as executive producer, show runner and writer.

TV Land Greenlights 'RETIRED AT 35' Starring George Segal

TV Land announced today that it has greenlit 10 episodes of the original sitcom 'Retired At 35' starring esteemed comedy and drama actor George Segal. The sitcom is a TV Land PRIME original production and is the network's second venture into scripted comedy series along with 'Hot in Cleveland,' which premieres on June 16, 2010. Chris Case ('Reba,' 'Spin City') is the writer for 'Retired at 35' and serves as an executive producer. Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis ('Rita Rocks,' 'Reba,' 'Titus') are also executive producers.
