New York City Ballet's Georgina Pazcoguin will join American Dance Machine for the 21st Century at a special guest artist during their return to the Joyce Theater (175 8th Avenue), December 21, 2015 - January 3. 2016. Known for her wide range of dramatic and dynamic roles as a soloist at NYCB, including Anita in Jerome Robbins' West Side Story Suite, Pazcoguin will perform in all of the evening shows, in which she will be featured in the Chita Rivera role in Jack Cole's 'Beale Street Blues,' Victoria's solo from Cats, and Jerome Robbins' 'Mr. Monotony.'

Enchanting generations of wide-eyed children and adults alike, New York City Ballet's dazzling production of George Balanchine's THE NUTCRACKER plays to sold-out houses each holiday season in New York. Now audiences across the country will have the opportunity to enjoy the timeless tale set to Tschaikovsky's memorable music when it comes to movie screens nationwide for two screenings: Today, December 5 at 12:55 pm and Thursday, December 10 at 7:00 pm, as a presentation of Lincoln Center at the Movies: Great American Dance. Featured in the cast are ON THE TOWN star Megan Fairchild as the Sugarplum Fairy, with Joaquin De Luz as Her Cavalier and Ashley Bouder as Dewdrop.

(Linda Shelton, Executive Director) is proud to present the New York premiere of Daniil Simkin's INTENSIO, a program of works featuring an exceptional company of dancers, including Simkiin's fellow American Ballet Theatre members Isabella Boylston, Alexandre Hammoudi, Blaine Hoven, Calvin Royal III, Hee Seo, Cassandra Trenary and James Whiteside and guest artist Céline Cassone. Featuring works by acclaimed choreographers Gregory Dolbashian, Alexander Ekman, Jorma Elo and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, this must-see event will take place from January 5-10 at The Joyce Theater. Celebrated as “elegant and theatrically striking,” this completely re-imagined production premiered in 2012 and has received praise from audiences and critics alike (The New York Times). With “sleek, bejeweled costumes and spacious, regal sets” by Robert Perdziola and all-new lighting design by Finnish-based Mikki Kunttu, this timeless holiday classic features the full company of 68 dancers along with more than 200 Boston Ballet School students (Thea Singer, The Boston Globe).

Pacific Northwest Ballet is excited to premiere the centerpiece of its 2015/2016 season, a sparkling new production of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker featuring eye-popping colorful sets and costumes designed by author/illustrator Ian Falconer (Olivia the Pig). PNB's new production still features Tchaikovsky's timeless score performed live by the mighty PNB Orchestra, and the beloved story of Clara, her Nutcracker prince, and a magical journey to delight audiences both young and old. “As a ten-year-old boy, I stepped onto the stage for the first time as a member of the cast of George Balanchine's Nutcracker,” said PNB Artistic Director Peter Boal. “The magic of this production was evident from that moment on, and now to have the opportunity to bring it to Seattle audiences wrapped in the brilliance of Ian Falconer's designs is a dream come true.”

SEATTLE, WA, November 17, 2015 — Pacific Northwest Ballet Artistic Director Peter Boal and principal dancer Maria Chapman have announced that Ms. Chapman has decided to retire. Ms. Chapman joined PNB as an apprentice in 1995 and was promoted to corps de ballet in 1996, soloist in 2005, and principal in 2009.
