The Broadway Boys hosted the 5th annual BROADWAY SINGS FOR TOYS last night, December 20th at 7pm. Some of Broadway's most celebrate talent lent their voices to the THE BROADWAY DREAMS FOUNDATION'S Second Annual Holiday Benefit Concert at New World Stages last night, November 22. The evening of entertainment benefits the national non-profit organization that brings young talent closer to their Broadway Dreams though intensive week-long Broadway training programs across the country. Broadway stars and Rock stars joined the audience to dance the night away when Rockers on Broadway returned to BB Kings Blues Club last night, November 8th. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Dance Party featured some of the hottest dance tunes from Elvis to GaGa, performed by Broadway stars and the Rock stars who made them famous. The concert benefits Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway in South Africa, and The Bendheim Performing Arts Center Scholarship Fund.

Last night, August 16, The Broadway Boys took the stage at Birdland. Featuring regulars Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins), Michael James Scott (Jersey Boys), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz), Gabe Violett (Spring Awakening), and Zak Resnick (Dogfight), the concert also showcased special guest Natalie Weiss from Wicked.

The Broadway Boys, a gathering of some of the best tenor voices on the Broadway stage are headed into the recording studio on October 1 to record their debut album. Produced by Michael McElroy, the CD is schedule to be available at concerts by late November. PS Classics will release the CD in stores in early winter. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there as the 'Boys' laid down their tracks!

Ghostlight Records presented, by popular demand, a second Spring Awakening Christmas Concert, on December 29th, 2008. BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture the festive fun, and share in the holiday celebration with the very talented young cast.

Past and present performers of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Spring Awakening come together for a one night only event MONDAY DECEMBER 8th at IRT (154 Christopher Street) with a performance (at 7pm & 10PM) of music inspired by the Rainer Maria Rilke poem Sonnets to Orpheus, Part Two, XII. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Actors Fund and IRT Theater's Artist In Residency program. In the spirit of the holiday season past and present, the Spring Awakening casts - both present and past - perform much of their favorite music. The theme of the show reflects the poem's tone of wanting the changes that come into our lives. The show will also feature a sneak peak into each cast member's Spring Awakening audition.

This exciting cabaret style show will feature the talents of 'Tale of Two Cities' alum Anne Tolpegin, Rebecca Robbins, Alison Cimmet, Michael Halling, Randy Glass, and Kevin Greene as well as Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde), Andy Kelso (Mamma Mia), Colin Donnell (Jersey Boys, Pride & Prejudice), Alice Lee, Emma Hunton, Gabe Violett, and Zach Reiner-Harris (Spring Awakening), and Jessica Grove (Sunday in the Park with George). Additional performers include Shauna Goodgold, Jacob Hoffman, and Kimberly Moye.
