Ben Vereen Plays Bristol Riverside Theatre, 4/20-22

Bristol Riverside Theatre concludes its season-long series of special performances with Steppin' Out Live with Ben Vereen, a weekend of appearances by legendary Broadway star Ben Vereen on April 20-22. Performances are Friday, April 20 at 8 PM, Saturday, April 21 at 2:00 and 8:00 PM; and Sunday, April 22 at 3:00 PM. Tickets starting at $50 are available by visiting brtstage.org or calling the BRT Box Office at 215-785-0100. All performances are at Bristol Riverside Theatre (120 Radcliffe Street in Bristol, PA).

This week, representatives of Persian Room's history from the 1940's to the 1970's gathered to remember, admire and respect its legacy including Marge Champion, Tommy Tune, Barbara Van Orden, Carol Lawrence, Leslie Uggams, Eve Plumb and more to celebrate the launch of Patty Farmer's new book, 'The Persian Room Presents,' released by Vantage Press. Last week, Segerstrom Center for the Arts (formerly the Orange County Performing Arts Center) announced its brand new Cabaret Series for the 2012 - 2013 Season. Once again, familiar Broadway talent will make up most of the Center's impressive Cabaret series, which include Tony Winners Lea Salonga, Betty Buckley, and Barbara Cook. Rounding out the line-up are husband-and-wife Broadway stars Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley, and Grammy-nominated artists Michael Feinstein and Jane Monheit (with the John Pizzarelli Quartet).
