Renowned Las Vegas entertainers The Scintas return to the Suncoast Showroom, March 10 and 11, each evening at 7:30 p.m.

ABC announced today a brand new music competition series, DUETS starring four of the music industry's biggest Superstars: Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, Lionel Richie, and Robin Thicke. The new series will debut this summer on ABC television network.

Last week, Segerstrom Center for the Arts (formerly the Orange County Performing Arts Center) announced its brand new Cabaret Series for the 2012 - 2013 Season. Once again, familiar Broadway talent will make up most of the Center's impressive Cabaret series, which include Tony Winners Lea Salonga, Betty Buckley, and Barbara Cook. Rounding out the line-up are husband-and-wife Broadway stars Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley, and Grammy-nominated artists Michael Feinstein and Jane Monheit (with the John Pizzarelli Quartet).

Act II Playhouse will hold its annual spring fundraiser ACT-2-4-U on Monday, March 19, starting at 7 p.m. The event will feature an array of wonderful entertainers and an inside look at producing Broadway smash hits from Act II's Producing Artistic Director Bud Martin.

Superstar Neil Sedaka plays the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall Saturday, March 24 at 8:00 PM.

Special guests Marge Champion, Barbara Van Orden and Tony Butala join author, Patty Farmer Wednesday, March 7 at 7:00 pm, for a Q&A and to sign copies of "The Persian Room Presents." There is much to like about Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show, which played at the beautiful McCallum Theatre for three sold out performances on March 2 and 3. Like so many others, I would have loved to have had the chance to witness the "real" Rat Pack hold court in the world famous Copa Room some fifty years ago and so I was greatly anticipating an evening that promised to deliver the next best thing. For the most part, it kept its promise.
