The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2015 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and beloved films. The 2015 series will run today, June 5-August 9 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) and will feature 29 films over nine weeks (no films scheduled for the week of the Fourth of July).

Directed by Ginger Newman (who doubles as musical director as well), with choreography and staging by Cary Street, the musical that introduced the theatrical standards 'Bushel and a Peck,' 'Adelaide's Lament' and 'Luck Be A Lady Tonight' to Broadway audiences runs at the Keeton Theatre tonight, June 4, through June 20.

Virginia's Signature Theatre opens its' air-conditioned doors once again for the annual Sizzlin' Summer Nights Series. Times Square Alliance and Make Music New York have partnered on a special edition of Times Square NYC: Music at the Crossroads. The series of free, outdoor concerts on the Broadway Pedestrian Plazas in Times Square will take place weekdays from June 2-19 and will feature musicians from all five boroughs highlighting the diversity of the music scene in NYC. All participants will also be a part of Make Music New York on June 21.
