In January, the stage is never dark at the Center House Theatre as Seattle Shakespeare Company will present two plays in rotating repertory seven days a week.

The Hollywood Arts Council will celebrate its 30th Anniversary and present the 22nd Annual Charlie Awards at a Black-Tie, Red-Carpet Gala Event emceed by KABC Television's George Pennacchio. The event is open to the general public and will be held at the historic Jim Henson Studios, home of the original Charlie Chaplin Studios and the world famous Muppets on Saturday, March 29, 2008.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company continues its 2007-2008 Season with Carter's Way, written and directed by Oscar-winning ensemble member Eric Simonson, with original jazz music by Darrell Leonard. The production, featuring ensemble members Robert Breuler, K. Todd Freeman, Ora Jones and James Vincent Meredith, with Anne Adams, Calvin Dutton, Curtis M. Jackson, Keith Kupferer, Danny McCarthy and Michael Pogue, runs February 28 - April 27, 2008 in the Steppenwolf Downstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted. The press opening is Saturday, March 8 at 3:00 p.m.

Richard Nelson's drama about Frank Lloyd Wright's family life is lacking, but Peter Weller dazzles in the title role

Richard Nelson's new play Frank's Home, which began previews at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater on January 13th, 2007, will open on January 30th and run through February 18th.
