Cast Complete for Cyrano de Bergerac

We are pleased to announce additional cast members joining Tony® Award-winner Douglas Hodge as 'Cyrano' in our new Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac. Clemence Poesy will make her Broadway debut as 'Roxane' and Broadway veteran Patrick Page will play 'Comte De Guiche'.

The Fordham University Alumni Theatre Company announced the details of its second annual production, ONCE THERE WAS A BOY, a new play by Jason Pizzarello. The production is a collaboration of thirty Fordham University alums, including Pizzarello and director Aaron Rhyne, and will begin its special limited engagement on August 1, 2009 at Fordham University's Pope Auditorium (113 W. 60th Street, NYC).

After an amazing run from Off-Broadway sleeper to Tony Award winning Best Musical Spring Awakening ended its run on Broadway last night, Sunday, January 18, following the 7pm performance. After the cast gave the final bows, it was time to celebrate the music, memories and magic that was Spring Awakening. Current cast members, show alumni and the creative team headed to Bond 45 on 45th St. to get the bittersweet yet joyous festivites started and 'not do sadness', BroadwayWorld tagged along to join in the emotional closing night party. When Spring Awakening closed, it had played 859 performances and 29 previews. Its eight 2007 Tony? Awards, including Best Musical, made Spring Awakening one of the biggest Tony winners in the past decade. In addition to the Tony Award wins, Spring Awakening won four Drama Desk Awards, three Outer Critics Circle Awards, and the NY Drama Critics Award for Best Musical, the Drama League award for Distinguished Production of a Musical, and the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, among other notable citations.

Cast members from the Tony Award- winning Best Musical SPRING AWAKENING, including Hunter Parrish, Alexandra Socha, Gerard Canonico, Matt Doyle, Emily Kinney, Zach Reiner-Harris, Morgan Karr, Frances Mercanti-Anthony and others will appear on ABC-TV's GOOD MORNING AMERICA on Tuesday, December 30th, as part of the 'Warm Coats, Warm Hearts Coat Drive,' from their Times Square Studios. The 2nd Annual 'Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Drive,' sponsored by Burlington Coat Factory, to benefit the nonprofit organization, One Warm Coat, kicked off its 2nd annual drive last month on the popular morning show. Each of the cast members will bring one or more coats and make a donation. (GMA airs 7am-9am weekdays on ABC-TV).
