United Solo has announced the nominees for their thirteenth annual Special Award, presented each year to an outstanding solo performance that takes place outside of the festival.

The final commission by Deborah Warner in her inaugural season as Artistic Director of Ustinov Studio will be ¡SHOWMANISM! A Concise Histrionic of Performance, devised and performed by Dickie Beau which will play the Ustinov Studio, Bath from 11 November to 10 December 2022.

The Hudson Theatre was the place to be as stars of stage and screen came out to celebrate opening night of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. The world's largest solo theatre festival, United Solo, is back for its thirteenth season with productions from around the globe including drama, dance, multimedia, improv, musical and storytelling. The festival will run from October 4 until November 20 at Theatre Row in the heart of New York City's theatre district.

Casting is announced for The Tempest by William Shakespeare, which will be the first production in Deborah Warner's inaugural season as Artistic Director of the Ustinov Studio in Bath.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today casting for the World Premiere of the new musical The Butcher Boy, featuring book, music & lyrics by Asher Muldoon. The Butcher Boy will begin previews on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage on July 21, 2022 and is set to open on August 1 for a limited run through September 11, 2022.

Theatre Royal Bath has announced the first season of work to be commissioned for the Ustinov Studio by its new Artistic Director, the internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning theatre and opera director Deborah Warner.

Later this month, the world's largest solo theatre festival returns to its resident stage at Theatre Row in New York, resuming the tradition of honoring outstanding solo performances with the United Solo Special Award.
