The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and dick clark productions (dcp) present the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards tonight, Sunday, January 11, 2015. Hosted by Golden Globe Award winners Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the third year in a row, the ceremony will air on NBC live coast-to-coast from 5-8 p.m. (PT) and 8-11 p.m. (ET) from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. Written by Patrick Tobin, CAKE stars Jennifer Aniston as the acerbic, hilarious Claire Simmons, who becomes fascinated by the suicide of Nina, a woman in her chronic pain support group. As she uncovers The Details of Nina's suicide and develops a poignant relationship with Nina's husband, Claire also grapples with her own very raw personal tragedy. ABC announced premiere dates today for Oscar winner John Ridley's groundbreaking new drama “American Crime,” and gripping murder mystery “Secrets and Lies,” starring Ryan Phillippe and Juliette Lewis.

Profiles Theatre announces an extension for its 20th anniversary production of The Cryptogram by David Mamet, directed by Artistic Director Joe Jahraus. The critically-acclaimed production opened at Profiles on October 2, 2014 and will extend for an additional three weeks through December 6, 2014. Original cast members Abigail Boucher, Darrell W. Cox and Aaron Lamm will continue their roles. Performances are held at The Alley Stage, 4147 N. Broadway.

It was announced today that Emile Hirsch (“Into the Wild,” “Lone Survivor,” “Milk”) and Zoë Kravitz (“X-Men: First Class,” “Divergent,” “Mad Max: Fury Road”) have signed on to star in the action-crime drama “Vincent-N-Roxxy,” which was developed and produced by Keith Kjarval's Unified Pictures. Gary Michael Schultz wrote the screenplay and will also direct the film.

The Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress was presented to Jai'Len Josey, representing the Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards -- Shuler Hensley Awards.

Ryan McCartan, 2011 Jimmy Award winner, will host the 2-hour talent showcase that features dynamic ensemble and solo performances. McCartan recently starred as JD in the Off-Broadway hit musical, Heathers, appears regularly as Diggy in Liv & Maddie on the Disney Channel, and is a recurring character on the USA Network's Royal Pains. The event will be held at the Minskoff Theatre (200 W. 45th St) and begins at 7:30 pm.
