The White Horse Theater Company, known for acclaimed productions of plays by Sam Shepard and Tennessee Williams, will present a rare revival of Tennessee Williams' Clothes for a Summer Hotel. The play is directed by White Horse Producing Artistic Director Cyndy A. Marion, recognized for her recent revivals of Williams' Small Craft Warnings and In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel.

GATZ, the upcoming staged reading of the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, has been given the go-ahead by Fitzgerald's executors. The estate had previously blocked performances of GATZ, as the rights were held by the producers of the novel. Several companies have expressed interest in producing GATZ, including St. Ann's Warehouse, the Public Theatre, and the New York Theatre Workshop.

Fresh from receiving six 2009 Ovation Award nominations (including two for Best Production of a Play and one for Best Overall Season), the multiple award-winning Fountain Theatre celebrates 20 years of excellence with an exciting 2010/2011 season of premieres.

Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of GATZ, presented by Elevator Repair Service and directed by John Collins at the American Repertory Theater. The staged reading of the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel will include Jim Fletcher as Gatsby, Scott Shepherd as Nick, Victoria Vazquez as Daisy, and Gary Wilmes as Tom. The production will play the A.R.T. from January 7th to February 7th, 2010.

Mark Cabus' A Christmas Carol will be performed at 7:30 p.m. December 17, 18 and 19, and on Sunday, December 20, at 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door; $12 in advance at TicketsNashville.com. Discounted tickets, priced at $10, are available for Actors Equity members, while students and seniors with ID will only pay $5. This performance is appropriate for the whole family but suggested for children 12 and over.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) has a special offer to beat the holiday rush - $25 tickets will made available during a One Day Sale on Tuesday, November 17, for early performances of three upcoming productions of the current season - Best of Both Worlds (November 21-January 3): Gatz(January 7 - February 7); and Paradise Lost (February 27 - March 20).

Previews will begin March 13, 2010.
