All-Female Cast to Bring AS YOU LIKE IT to Center Stage This Winter

As a year-long renovation begins at Center Stage's downtown Baltimore home in January, the company starts a temporarily residency at Towson University with a contemporary production of Shakespeare's popular comedy AS YOU LIKE IT, presented by an all-female cast led by award-winning director Wendy C. Goldberg, from Jan. 15 to Feb. 14.

Glass Half Full Theatre's original production of MISSIONARY POSITION: PLEASURE JOURNEYS FOR THE INTREPID LADY EXPLORER playing at Salvage Vanguard Theatre is a pure pleasure to experience on many levels.With an ensemble cast of three, and running at 40 minutes, not a moment is wasted in keeping the audience entertained. Lady Hortense (Jay Byrd) welcomes patrons in the lobby, engaging everyone in amusing conversation and then takes the lead, ushering everyone into the theatre. On stage we find our intrepid lady explorers posed in large frames, the effect is charming. The extremely witty Lady Hortense welcomes the audience to 'The Ladies Symposium Where Ladies Share Knowledge With Ladies' and introduces the guest speakers.

Margot Harley, who co-founded The Acting Company with John Houseman in 1972, will step down as its Producer effective the end of this year. The Acting Company began with the first graduating class of Juilliard's Drama Division, which included Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, David Schramm and David Ogden Stiers. "They were classically trained, superbly talented and had worked together for four years," stated Ms. Harley.
National Geographic Channel Orders Scripted Drama SAINTS & STRANGERS

National Geographic Channel announced today the start of preproduction on Saints & Strangers (working title), the epic, untold story behind the founding of America and the men, women and children in search of a new life in an unexplored land. The four-hour miniseries, produced by Sony Pictures Television with Little Engine Productions, will air in fall 2015. Grant Scharbo, Gina Matthews, Teri Weinberg and Eric Overmyer are executive producers.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, SHOWTIME will be airing full catch-up marathons of the current seasons of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series HOMELAND beginning on Saturday, November 29th at 3 p.m. ET/PT, and the critically-acclaimed new drama THE AFFAIR on Sunday, November 30th starting at 4 p.m. ET/PT. Viewers can also catch up on the current seasons via SHOWTIME ON DEMAND and SHOWTIME ANYTIME. New episodes of both hit series return on Sunday, December 7th starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
