As BroadwayWorld reported last month, Michelle Williams has extended her acclaimed run in Cabaret on Broadway through November 9, 2014, and BroadwayWorld has just learned that a new 'Sally Bowles' is on her way to the Kit Kat Klub. A rep for the show has confirmed to BWW: 'Emma Stone is in negotiations to make her Broadway debut as 'Sally Bowles' in Cabaret on Broadway at Roundabout Theatre Company.' Stone was reportedly in talks to join the show last spring, but had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long previously announced that the World Premiere of The Long Shrift, written by Robert Boswell and directed by James Franco, would begin previews tonight, July 7th, 2014.
